What is the difference between adpi and theta?
by: CuriousHypothetically if I am trying my hand at COB I would like an outside opinion on these two. I hear that they are similar but I’m not sure.

They're very similar but Theta is often considered the more chill/less stereotypical sorority, whereas adpi is preppier and has more religious girls. Both hangout at the same frats and overlap a lot of friend groups. If you can go to COB events for both you should, or at least talk to girls in both to get an idea of where you'd rather be. @lol- “one” of the girls posts about right to life? That is hardly representative of the whole chapter. So what if she does????? if that is how she feels then I applaud her for being bold about stating it. You are such an angry person always bashing anyone who doesn’t think like you. (Yes we can tell it’s you who doesn’t like the Bible verses). Let people be who they are.

Calm it girlie I never hated on her for stating how she feels I just pointed out that adpi as an organization has some girls that feel this way. It’s not good or bad but the fact that you know it puts off PNMs is telling.

ADPi's are try hard, more strict enforcement of what they think are "traditional" sorority values. Just makes them look like desperate at the end of the day. At least Theta embraces who they are, they're not top but they never force themselves to look it. Way funner vibes tbh.

theta is really awesome and has a great mix of girls personality wise, adpi tends to attract very similar vibes in their members so there’s a little less variety in personality but they’re very sweet and fun! i would encourage you to go to both COB events as much as you can but really make an effort to learn about the chapters outside of rumors or chatter both on campus or on greek rank. you can find your home in any chapter, and i hope you find it through this process! good luck :)
