Delta Gamma - ΔΓ Sorority at Washburn University - WU 2.7 I was called a slur by a fellow chapter member. They did not keep in the loop of what was going on nor did I receive any apology from a single individual who was involved. Those who I thought were my friends, never reached out to me. Disappointed but not surprised.

Delta Gamma - ΔΓ Sorority at Washburn University - WU 3.6 Going through recruitment this year, DG was my 2nd choice! I ended up dropping recruitment towards the end but The DG's were very friendly and I liked how they play bingo with old people. thats nice.

Delta Gamma - ΔΓ Sorority at Washburn University - WU 3.8 Hypocrisy runs this house. Everything is amazing except for the sisterhood. During recruitment they make all these fun promises and they make you feel so included. Then you join and you feel like you are bothering them when you go over to the house. Don't join this sorority for the sisterhood.

I agree completely. Washburn DG is not the same as other DG houses. The administration in the house is flawed beyond comprehension. I wish someone had told me that before I joined. Not the sisterhood you expect, nor the sisterhood you want.

as a dg I agree with this statement. many girls are dropping due to this issue. we have many cliques within this sorority. I personally dropped because some of the girls are not very nice. the house, philanthropy and classy was is nice, but when it comes to sisterhood it's a complete waste. honestly I wish you could switch houses at this point because I really liked Greek life.. just sucks that a few cliques and girls can make some feel so unwanted they drop. as a former dg I would not recommend rushing. you don't know what it's like behind the scenes of it. all you see is social media and pictures. join for a week and you'll see what I'm talking about. it's awful and I wish I wouldn't have joined. if you're looking for friends don't choose this one.
