How big of a deal or will it make a deference if I rush as a sophomore?

Each house takes plenty of sophomores

I'm also a legacy. Does that make it any easier?

Sophmores usually have pretty stringent grade requirements (just stay above a 3.5 your first year), but other than that, it's not much more difficult than rushing as a freshman. Just make sure to make connections throughout your freshman year (but don't seem too clingy or obsessed with being in a sorority).

Just like rush in freshman year, being a legacy helps.

Honestly other than the grade thing and making connections, it's not that difficult to rush as a Sophmore. Good luck!

I also want to rush as a sophomore but will probably be around a 3.0-3.5 that decent right? Plus how do I go about randomly meeting girls in the sorority I'm a legacy in? I kind of know one but other than that I know no one. I've had more classes with girls from other sororities so have made friends in those.

If your GPA is closer to the 3.0 range you're going to limit yourself to only 3 or 4 sororities. If it's closer to 3.3, maybe half of the sororities will consider you. Your best chance will be if your GPA is over a 3.5.

You should probably concentrate on making connections with girls who you already know. Depending on what your legacy chapter is, if you get far enough in rush, you'll pretty much be guaranteed a bid. But in order to do that, you need the grades and your personalities have to match.
