considering dropping?
by: dropping?So is anyone unhappy with their sorority and considering dropping? You DONT have to name which one but just vent. I feel like I'm unsure of my decision and just wanted anonymous feedback. :/

then drop, if you feel comfortable enough to bash your sisters then you need to leave and they probably won't miss you anyways. All of the other houses are exactly the same, so good luck :-)))))

The first sememster is the toughest. If you are struggling, talk with an older member. They have been where you are and what you're going through. So much goes on the first semester along with trying to acclimate to college life, homesickness, etc. My sis is at a big D1 school in her first year too and has also been overwhelmed at times and on top of that, was diagnosed with pneumonia last week. Your sisters saw something in you and wanted you to be a part of their sisterhood. Stick with it through the spring and if at the end of the year you still feel like dropping, then maybe greek life isn't for you. That's not a bad thing. You will find your niche.

I will add, that I do know a freshman who dropped her sorority after the first week. She is a pre vet student and was overwhelmed with the course load plus the sorority. She now wishes she had stuck it out because while things still are crazy from time to time, she didn't give it the thought that such a decision deserved.
