I loved reading your story and I know from personal experience that you aren't alone. Each house is amazing in its own way and it takes someone with an open mind to be able to see the truth behind all these Greek rank lies and stereotypes. I hope that girls going through recruitment this fall are reassured by your story and realize the opportunities that going Greek can offer!

what purpose would that serve? I respect her so much more for not mentioning any specific chapters. I think her story is actually the most helpful of anything put on this website this whole time. It might be nice for some of us others to share our stories also. We would like to also hear about so called top and middle tier girls also. I think when someone is willing to put it out there like she did is pretty awesome.

And what is really interesting is the opposite end of the spectrum. I have known girls who pledged the top tier sororities and didn't find the sisterhood connection that they sought. Reasons being too many spoiled girls, too many cliques, etc. You never know until bid day what the chemistry of a pledge class will be - it's one thing that just can't be planned.
