Don't look at the rankings. If you don't know who is in the top 6 you probably don't belong in the top 6.

The top five are kappa, pi phi, theta, chio, and tridelt. Regardless of what anyone wants to say, these five chapters are the best and always have been the best at a&m. Saying mean and untrue things wont change anything.

that may be the supposed top five in texas but here at tamu most people would not agree. if a chapter has to snap bid it is obviously not desired

oh there's a top 5 alright.... the top sororities compete for the same girls year after year. And when you're in one you realize how good the other 4 are even though they may not have thought so during your own recruitment

Just trying to understand, honestly who really believes that other houses are top besides the real top 5? I knew that coming into rush, my friends knew that, and the campus knows that. So who would actually think differently?

Pi Phi is easily in the top 5 sororities just as SAE is easily in the top 5 fraternities. They are both huge national names and go after people who are wealthy. Let me guess.. you are a DG and think that you deserve to be top and that Sig ep is better than SAE? Wake up girlfriend!

If rushees should remember one thing it is this: if you join a top 5 sorority (Tri Delt, Pi Phi, Chi O, Theta, Kappa) you will have amazing alumni connections not on in Texas but also across the nation (maybe a little less for ddd). These sororities go after rushees with beauty, brains, money, personality and status. If you don't have someone pushing for you, it is likely you won't get in. I would be proud to wear any top 5 sorority shirt on campus. If you don't get into the top 5 the next acceptable ones are Zeta and DG.
