I was curious about the GPA range for the sorority houses to see my chances for each. Does anyone know them?

I'm curious about GPAs too. Would you mind listing all 12 sororities and the numerical GPAs they have? And New Memeber GPAs if y'all have them?

That's not public info and no one will disclose that. The higher, the better.

Looks like the Greekchat biddies don't have high school seniors to bully around this time of the year so they're trolling again.

Firstly, do NOT be rude to our curious and eager PNMs. Everyone knows what "bless your heart" means, and it is neither kind nor polite. The PNM has a valid question.

Secondly, because information is not publicly posted does not mean that it is forbidden or a secret. That kind of information is openly shared during rush. If you must pick a fight with someone, there are multiple posts on other schools' pages who have posted full numerical GPA rankings which were also "not public info." I'd suggest you redirect yourself over there.

Thirdly, if you are not an A&M Greek student, kindly refrain from posting here. It gives the impression that you are representing an A&M sorority, and your attitude does not represent that of my sisters, and it certainly doesn't represent mine.

GPA's are not confidential and are made public every semester. Go to TAMU student activities website.....then office of fraternity and sorority life....then academics.....you will find grade summaries for all fraternities and sororities for the past several years. Last fall's gpa should be posted the beginning of march.

Are the chapter total numbers correct? I'm surprised because some of the sororities people say are losing girls have way more girls than I thought.

Has the info moved to a different website? I was able to see the summaries a month ago but the site linked here seems broken now.

Are you more concerned about what the GPAs are because you want to be around the girls with the highest GPAs or because you want to know if yours is high enough to get in to those sororities?
If it's the first option: the info is made public. If it's the second, each sorority changes their minimum GPA for PNMs for recruitment each year (especially if they did not perform well in grades last semester). For the most part, houses excelling in grades will maintain their minimum GPA and houses who fell will raise theirs. It also depends on your high school (I know we evaluate girls who have, say, and 3.4 from a hard private school as smarter than a girl with a 3.8 from a not so hard school, especially if the SAT score reflects that too). If you don't have a high GPA but are exceptional in other areas, your grades may be overlooked provided you surpass some minimum grade threshold. But you should try to ensure you look amazing during rush and in your pictures, you have extracurriculars, and you have great conversations...

Do you go to A&M? Entrance requirements for Freshman are higher than EVERY houses grade cutoff. It's upperclassmen and Blinn Team were academics can be an issue.
