Lower Top: Pretty much the same as top but maybe a little less wealthy and prestigious

Middle: Fun parties. Mixed guys, some weirdos, still solid chapters.
-Sigma Chi
-Pike
-Kappa Sig
Lower: Not prestigious, poor quality guys. But they still have a strong social life.
-Sigma Nu
-PiKap
Bottom: No one pays attention to them. Just kind of there.
-PhiDelt
-Chi Phi
-ATO
Irrelevant: No one knows or cares about them. Hardly even recognized as actual fraternities by the general student body.

KA is one of the 3 strongest fraternities in the South with SAE and Sigma Chi. I'm in none of the above, but the sheer number of schools that those 3 are strong at in the region dwarfs the next few contenders (and Sigma Chi and KA aren't at the same level in Texas as most of the rest of the South). That said, KA is extremely marginal to poor in the Midwest and the West overall, and they are basically obligated not to exist in the Northeast by agreement with the older and really tiny KA Society. If you're in the South KA is spectacular, maybe slowly declining, but if you're most other places they aren't great.
