Rushing as a junior
by: Aggie GirlDo any houses take juniors? I’m super worried. I’m a transfer and just now going through rush.

There is a separate quota for upperclassmen so you won't be competing with freshmen for spots. It is harder for juniors for sure, but if you have a good college gpa, a resume showing involvement/leadership at your previous school, a good video, and good social media you will have more choices.
Keep an open mind and don't get your heart set on any houses until you get your Philanthropy Round schedule back and see the houses you are actually going to be rushing. While you will rank the chapters according to your interest during Go Greek, those ranks will have no effect whatsoever on getting you on any invitation lists because the sororities will have already decided on those before pnm's even get to campus. If you get past Round 1 cuts then those houses are interested in you, so it's all up to how you do in person from that point.
Pnm's should keep in mind that sororities never see pnm's ranks of them so that's not a consideration in their membership selection at any round. If you love a house you need to tell them.
