kappa officially on probation?
by: lolis kappa officially on probation now? i checked the cpc website and they’re a “chapter with sanctions”. are they still allowed to recruit, hold social events, or do anything at all? how do you think them being on probation will affect this year’s recruitment?

They haze pc with alcohol for years now and it caught up to them. No fun parties and keeping old crumbing house.

Kappa Nationals has gotten involved. They are doing an investigation of their own.

Their Nationals completed an investigation and Kappa has to do education training and only date parties without alcohol until probation ends Jan. 2024.

Thus is it - they have 1 semester left of probation of date parties with no alcohol - they will recruit and have date parties - and all their new members were initiated months ago.

PNMs will have to sign waivers before they go into the Kappa house saying they won't snitch on what goes on in there

Yea kappa is on probation currently… lots of problems with that chapter
Primary Sanction – Organizational Conduct Probation through May 31, 2024
Secondary Sanction – Events with Alcohol Restrictions through December 31, 2023
Secondary Sanction – Leadership and Alcohol Education Training through May 31, 2023
Secondary Sanction – Bid Day Protocol Review through May 31, 2023

That's great they are educating their members with bid day protocal training and alcohol education training.
I know other sororities that were drinking on bid day and have underage members blacked out at formals.

These are their sanctions they are forced to do in order to stay on campus, they did not decide to provide education and alcohol awareness on their own.
This is also like their 4th time being in trouble for alcohol related hazing offenses…. It wasn’t just “drinking on bid day”

Yeah I’ve hear from multiple sources that kappa’s nationals might not let them recruit… either way no one wants to get mixed up with the issues that chapter is facing currently

I am not a Kappa or a graduate from 87…... I just think you all sound like jealous, nasty girls. “Glee in others misfortunes “ describes perfectly how you are behaving though.
And I really, really do hope you aren’t in my chapter. I don’t think you are though bc girls in my chapter look at this terrible site very rarely. I certainly won’t be back.

"Nothing's been done to them" Maybe. But there is still a group of women in the Kappa house who don't think it's a big deal to haze freshmen and send them to the hospital. What kind of PNM wants to go there? What will other people think of someone who joins that group?

those events were already approved so allowed but nothing is set for this upcoming year. Nothing approved THEN nothing going on. looks like sleepovers and bowling

It’s sad a$m chapters are rooting for KKG to not have events. I’m not a KKG but y’all look very jealous over exaggerating their situation. They are having all the events every other chapter at TAMU is having but no alcohol at events this fall semester.
