Quota was 67- which is a great size for NM’s to be able to bond! All the chapters here are great and girls should give each one serious consideration!

Maybe false, but they fill their house with incoming girls from other schools who transfer. That’s a fact. And it’s why they don’t have to cob

No, DZ did not do snaps. They made quota just fine. Most houses did.

they can snap to total if they want, so even if they made quota they can still try for more.

Literally no one can tell who had to snap bid from social media… you find out from pnms who get calls from these chapters and then tell their friends!!!!

What you are saying is false. They met quota and got quota additions for the girls that maximized their options at pref. They got extra girls because everyone who maximizes gets a bid and they would have had those sororities with over 67 new members left on their list at pref. That is not a snap bid. Someone did a great job explaining the difference in another thread. I suggest you go read it so you are educated.

Theta absolutely did not snap bid. They had close to 200 girls back for pref. They got their top list. Not arguing about who you think is “top” or “bottom” but there are a lot of girls wanting Theta this year

Theta was my daughter’s top choice! And she had full party lists before anyone thinks otherwise. Haha.

AGAIN, none of these chapters will admit it… but atleast 3 chapters had to snap!!! Meaning they did not make quota!!! Plain and simple!!!

If they have a pledge class that is exactly quota or under then it is likely there were snap bids to try to meet quota (in this case 67). If they have numbers in the 70's and 80's for new members then that is quota additions for the guaranteed bids for people maximizing their options. COB starts after bid day.

Often times if a chapter misses quota by a small handful (2-3 people), the recruitment team will call PNM’s and hand out snap bids the morning of Bid Day, snap to quota, and return to the house telling everyone “we got quota”. Notice they’ll use the word ‘got’ and not ‘matched to’. Usually the chapter itself never really knows, so it is possible a chapter like DZ only had a few spots to fill and were able to do so through a small amount of snap bids. Not matching to quota is a big morale buster, so it’s strategic on the recruitment teams side to take this approach and keep the chapter excited for the incoming pledge class.
