Honestly itās better to drop than to take a spot from someone who really wants to be there. Itās the honorable thing to do.

Not every chapter is for everyone. Seriously itās like dating If youād rather be home by yourself than go out with a dude, you aināt feeling it? How is this any different? Iād have rather not been in a sorority than pledge a house Iām not feeling apart of & thatās it

Such a good comparison to dating. Some girls are desperate enough to date anyone who asks, or worse, rush into marriage just to get that āring by spring.ā It takes confidence to say, no, Iād rather be alone than in the wrong relationship or sorority. It shows maturity to wait for the right opportunities and self-knowledge to know whatās best.

Nah: I think the problem was the snarky attitude of the poster (the laughing emoji and the "don't gaf" comment. If somebody is looking for moral support, they should not phrase it that way

you could also try a major specific org, womenās org, or a service org! there are tons of different opportunities to get involved at tamu!

I think people just couldnāt handle the cuts. And there are girls who just see themselves above what they consider a bottom house. Sad really.

No, it was more than cuts. PNM numbers were down from the start, and actives didnāt seem as enthusiastic. Like people werenāt having fun, the tone was so serious. Itās supposed to be social. Is Greek life fun anymore?
