Pi Phi, Chi-O, and Theta are traditionally the most Christian. However, Chi-O dirty rushes so IMO not Christian at all. No idea how they justify breaking the rules, but whatever. Theta is pretty Christian, BUT they have lots of girls who are super Woke/ party animals, no idea how they got in or why they would want to think Theta. Pi Phi has a lot of Christians but also some girls who party. You will find Christians in every sorority. They may not be the majority, but they are there. Since every PC is around 100 girls, no matter what you like to do you will be able to find your people. Best of luck!

I think it’s important to point out that Christians can party and still be Christians. They can drink alcohol and still be Christians. Jesus did. Noah once got so drunk he passed out. So this notion that partiers aren’t Christians is just wrong and very narrow minded. Moderate drinking is ok, y’all. Let’s all grow up a little.

Honestly, you can find these girls in any house. I’m a DZ and there are many women in our chapter who do church together, Bible study, Christian based summer camps over the summer break, Breakaway, etc. also throughout Panhellenic, different chapters will host events and all are invited. This page can be super toxic and make someone think that girls in other houses aren’t friends or don’t like each other but that’s so far from the truth. This is such a common core value throughout every chapter!! Good luck!!

hey over it- No one ever said Christians can't drink or party. They can do whatever they want. I do believe they have free will.

I agree. However, the comment “Pi phi has Christians BUT some girls who party” makes it sound like going to parties and drinking makes a person un-Christian. Not true. Moderate drinking is not against Christian teaching. Other religions, Muslims for example, do not drink. But it’s ok in moderation for Christians.

So - not trying to beat a dead horse, but......as Christians drinking is one of those grey areas. How much drinking is considered moderate and "not a problem"? My roommate my freshman year got plastered every weekend and some weekdays. She wasn't drinking that much. She got into some bad situations. What if someone has a genetic predisposition to alcoholism....would moderate drinking be a good idea? Probably not. It's a personal choice and one you need to be very very careful about. Even a small amount of alcohol can have profound effects on the way you reason and make choices, so that's something to think about.

So, does your roommate’s over-drinking mean that she is not a Christian? Is Jesus not her Savior? Are we only considered Christians if we never sin? By that standard, are you a Christian?

I would never presume to judge another person’s heart by trying to measure how close to Christ they are.

Your roommate clearly was not a moderate drinker, and I pray she has stopped. If a person is an alcoholic, they obviously can’t drink moderately and should therefore abstain. But for most people, drinking a moderate amount of alcohol is not a sin.

Being ungracious and judgmental, however, is.

I think you are reading a lot into this person's message that isn't there. They never said - my roommate got drunk a lot and therefore is not a christian. Also they never said Anyone who drinks a sip of alcohol is not a Christian. And by being ungracious, judgmental and jumping to conclusions by presuming you absolutely know and can interpret what someone else says on a website founded mostly on gossip- well that would be pretty unChristian too. IMO

^ I’m a little confused by the structure and content of your last sentence.

I don’t presume to read minds; I merely respond to statements made. I’m simply stating that Christians are usually allowed to drink in moderation. It is not considered a sin in most instances by most Christian denominations.

Some posters on here have implied that any alcohol consumption is un-Christian. I disagree.

This is smart of them. They’ve been losing nicer girls to sweeter sororities in recent years. Maybe they’ve learned a lesson. Hope it is sincere.

Traditionally, Theta, Tri Delt, and Chi O are considered the “holy trinity” of Christian girls who lead Bible studies, work with YoungLife and spend their summers at Christian camps like Sky Ranch, Pine Cove, and T Bar M. However, those chapters all have diverse member classes with women who are not religious (or different religions) and choose to live less virtuous lifestyles. And other chapters have devoted Christian girls too!!

No one ever said you were reading minds....clearly you aren't paying attention to what the person said. But you do you.....and I don't think you're doing Christianity any favors in the way you respond to others posting no matter how much you disagree.

There are some in every house. You will find them. It's great to be around all different kinds of people since life is like that but I get wanting to have a supportive and like-minded group of girls to do life with. Best of luck!
