do you think money raised for philanthropy shows anything about a chapter?

Actually a lot of these numbers are wrong… many chapters have multiple philanthropy events, many bigger events being in the fall…also some nationals match amounts raised and some don’t so if you are going to compare you have to do it correctly… also any amount raised for philanthropy is a positive, quit being critical

Yes, some sororities have stronger networks nationally and their nationals can afford to match money raised, giving those chapters a boost. One of many benefits of a strong national name. You’re connected your whole life to influential, and more importantly generous, people.

It has nothing to do with how strong a sorority’s “nationals” are… this person obviously knows nothing about how these things really work. People love to get on here and post things to create a narrative.

Not even mentioning that fall philanthropy events are usually the ones that make the most money. Greek girls here are really passionate about their philanthropies.

literally THIS!!!! like chi o isn’t even on here because of songfest… this person didn’t even think to add totals of all the philanthropy events each sorority holds but either ways it doesn’t even matter because money raised is money raised for a good cause.
