Cob and spring rush

You can let the Greek Life office know that you’re interested in COB & they will share your name and contact info with the chapters who are eligible. Not all chapters can do COB and not all chapters who can, will. All COB events are by invitation only so it’s possible to put your name on the list & never hear anything. Also, if you have friends in any chapters let them know you are interested!

COB is a way for chapters to keep adding new members to get up to Total (which is a set # of members, kind of like the average chapter size). So if Total is 280 and chapter A has 278 members, B has 276 members and C has 250 members, then A can give out up to 2 COB bids, B can give up to 4 bids, and C can give up to 30 bids. A & B might not even have COB events to fill 2-4 spots, they could just give bids directly to women their members already know. C would definitely have COB events like small socials and a Pref ceremony.
