Who snap bids abs who cob bids

Most chapters are once cut always cut. So if you’ve already gotten cut from them, the chances of you receiving a snap or COB bid are low. Snap bids are super rare to begin with.

If they dropped you the first round they obviously don’t see you as a potential sister. (Sorry it’s the hard truth) I would focus on the chapters that did invite you back because they obviously see something in you that makes them think you would be a good sister.

Dropped first round? Literally NO chance unless you change something HUGE (like become bff’s with a bunch of actives, get a 3.6++ GPA, get some outstanding rec letters & are super involved / a leader on campus).

Please put the topic of snap bids to rest. Snap bids are ONLY given out if a chapter fails to bid match to quota. Then they can”snap” up to quota that morning & those girls join the PC at Bid Day like all other NM’s. Most all chapters here make quota every single year. Every once in a while they’ll miss by 1 or 2 and those snaps would go to someone they carried deep into the week. Not someone they barely know that they cut after open house. Sorry.

COB….well, if you have chapters left, those are probably the ones that are eligible for COB. If a chapter has over a certain # of members, they are not able to COB. Based on last year, these houses are all prob going to be too big to COB: ZTA, KAT, XO, PBP, KKG, DZ, DDD, KD, DG.
