COB/SNAP BID HELP
by: Tamu23howdy! Did anyone else get cut by a lot of their top houses? What houses gave snap and COB bids last year? Would it just be better to gamble and see if I can get a COB bid over the school year?

Welcome to A&M - rush is very competitive. Let’s clear up a few things:
1. Every house has something to offer! The ones who invited you back are the only ones who are interested in getting to know you better. It’s ok to take a minute to be sad about cuts, but I encourage you to continue with the mindset that the invitations you have are the ONLY houses on campus.
2. Snap bids are unicorns. They are not a rush strategy. The chances that a competitive house won’t bid match to quota AND will decide to offer you (someone they cut very early in the week) a bid are honestly zero. I hate being this blunt but that little daydream of yours is not going to happen.
3. Without seeing your invitation list, chances are the houses you have left are slightly smaller than average, meaning they are they same ones who would be most likely to COB this fall.
