middle vs top houses
by: pnmI feel like there are superficial girls in every chapter, but I was wondering if there is really that big of a difference in like personalities for top and middle tier houses. Some girls in my hometown who are a couple years older are in axo and were notoriously mean when they were in high school. I am just confused if that is how most of girls in that sorority and dg and zeta are too. ty

I think the point is the superficial pressure that comes with top houses isn't as prominent in middle tier. If you love axo, dg, or zta, go for it. Where you feel most welcome and the happiest is where you should go. But I do definitely agree middle tiers get down hahahaha

The only reason why middle tier sororities aren’t “top” is because they don’t buy their way to the top. They aren’t known as the “money” sororities. ZTA Kappa tri delt etc have such a wealthy alumni base it’s insane. Hate to break it to ya but in Greek life, money plays a HUGE roll

as a girl who is an active in what is labeled as a "mid tier" sorority; rankings are stupid. A lot of the stereotypes on this site do ring true, however everyone finds their home, and the superficial rankings here can't really display the diverse women in these houses. Birds of a feather do flock together; it is just true! I recommend going into rush with few expectations and just know what you want from the process. For me, i knew i wanted life long friends and a chance to make amazing memories; i have found that. I feel like when you rush with YOUR best interest as your priority, you will too! (don't make your best interest having the richest friends, or friends who all look like you) Good luck!!
