Rushing as a Junior?

I just finished my first year at TAMU and I plan on rushing this Fall, but am worried about it as I'm classified as a Junior by hours but won't graduate for another 3 years due to certificates/minors I added. Will this classification hurt me even though I still have 2.5-3 years left here?
