Houses & Info about them

zeta/dg/axo: all blondes mainly. Attempting to look inclusive this year. Tend to be shallow and usually communication, kinesiology, or education majors. Mix with top frats but guys usually venture away from them after junior year. Focus a lot on looks and less on actual philanthropy or education. Houses lie about gpa
Kappa/tri delt: as relevant as middle tier maybe between bottom and middle. Simply because they don’t do much at all with anyone. Ghosts on campus and never mix with anyone. selective in the sense they take friends from high school. Never see them out or doing anything philanthropy related. Do not do frat philanthropy stuff either. I think they mix w fiji but they aren’t IFC related anymore.
Pi phi/KD/DZ/Gphi: middle tier sororities with variety of girls. Have seen philanthropy stuff from them. Less focused on getting a certain “type” of girl and more on values. See some going out too, but would say more education/sisterhood focused.
Theta/chi o: religious group of girls who keep to themselves. Haven’t really met any to say anything bad but they usually mix with men’s orgs. Not very active on campus.
Adpi/aopi: aopi is a young sorority and adpi got kicked off awhile ago so they’re fighting to climb up ranks. Never see them on campus or doing anything. More sisterhood oriented because that’s what they have to solidify before branching out in other aspects.

Many chapters hate Songfest. Why not volunteer for a cause and use all those hours to directly benefit the BCS Community. Songfest is a complete waste of time. Go make a difference and put it on your resume.

"Never see them on campus" is seriously a weird way of putting things. I definitely do think that certain sororities hang out with certain fraternities/men's groups/organizations, and if you are not specifically in a certain fraternity's circle then someone might say you "never see them" but that goes both ways too!
A DZ might say they "never see" a Theta or Chi-O at some Sigma Chi party, but likewise a Theta or Chi-O would "never see" a DZ at their FLO or Business Honors class (ofc there are some in each group but I'm generalizing here).
Another note: ADPi was never kicked off campus and they are one of the oldest chapters on the row. In 2012 there was a "re-colonization" of sorts where they brought in girls from strong chapters to take part in formal recruitment. And since then, their alums have been very supportive, even agreeing to pay for house improvements! It's honestly very impressive that they were supported and not yanked.

feel like the dz vs theta/chi o comment was a low jab. it's a known fact that dz hangs with sigma chi but there are a lot of girls in flos and business honors too. I know you said "generalizing" but eluding to one group of girls being stupider than the others isn't pan love, if you were really making a comparison you would've mentioned another org not an educational comparison.. js

I would say that it's projecting a bit and too much to take OP's post to be implying that DZ is "stupid." I interpreted more to mean that each group of girls has distinct values (social vs. academic) and depending on where you spend your time, you may not see them "active on campus."

Girls can be social and academic. All she was pointing out was that it was a stereotypical comment perpetuating that some chapters have more girls involved in honors/academia than others. Across the board, there is an equal number of academically successful women in each chapter. I know multiple DZ girls who are engineers... supporting stereotypes in the way that the comment was made isn’t Panhellenic love.

See, I really hate these types of posts. Under the guise of “being honest,” the author spews generalizations about each sorority and just because she mixes the positive with the negative it is somehow supposed to be legit. The fact is, it’s still just stereotypes and inaccurate because each chapter is actually a pretty diverse group of women. Thetas & Chi is are “religious “ and don’t go out, DZs are getting ZTA leftovers, AXO & ZTAs are blind party girls, etc etc... all of the most typical stereotypes and generalizations that people who aren’t in these chapters, or don’t know anyone in them, believe.
