Only Texas has “pkt” and the equivalent to pkt here would be only kappa and tridelt. Pkt is the historically rich, uber city, debutant girls and pkt usually pulls from certain high schools and have a reputation for being very selective and having a predetermined bid list. Zeta is none of that.

Idk I’m pretty sure tridelt has won songfest like every year and is very very prevalent on campus at parties and in A&M orgs.

Tri Delt and Kappa once you leave the Greek scene you are irrelevant. Your lack of involvement on campus and with Aggie traditions actually hurts Greek life with the rest of the student body. That really is true. The rest of campus thinks Zeta and DG are the two top chapters.

Wow, 2 Kappas I know started the Women in Engineering Club at TAMU last year, another I know is a Maroon Coat, and tons have internships at Exxon, Philips 66, Walt Disney, Goldman Saks

Well, internships are great but they are not a reflection of what the student body thinks. Same with starting engineering club. Maroon Coats IS a big deal, but she is certainly not a typical Kappa. The girls who get into Kappa and tri Delt get in because of connections not personality. That becomes very obvious when you go look at who gets into other A&M organizations like FLOS. And don't say they don't go out for them because, yes, they do. Most of them just don't often get chosen.

Friend, kindly stop. The vast majority of girls in my pc are in flos and I know the same is true for the other. Your desperate attempts to bring down Kappa and Tridelt are sad and mean, maybe thats why you got cut from our houses. The girls I know in our chapters are so kind and involved, they have majors ranging across the board and are members of every type of organization on campus. You have no experience to speak on what girls in Tridelt and Kappa are or are not apart of. Please, get off Greek rank, build up your self esteem, and learn to support other women. I went my sorority as a sophomore because I met countless girls from it on campus who I was encouraged by and wanted to be closer to. I get the anger people have towards Tridelt and Kappa because they were cut first round, but you should direct those feelings towards being happy where you landed, as girls in Tridelt and Kappa are. I can tell you, we aren't the ones coming on this site tearing others down and we do well in rush not because we try to make others look bad, but because we are genuine and fun.

Ya the tridelt kappa slander is so dumb. I’m not either but I have friend in both and really wanted tridelt through rush and can honestly say from this side that the vast majority of the hate is jealousy. Tridelts and kappas I know are the kindest people and are nothing like this site says.

I agree the hate comes a bit from jealousy but I also don’t think ddd or Kappa are “better” houses than any other. The problem is this stupid competitive “rank” cr@p that people keep shoving down our throats. We DO NOT HAVE PKT or an equivalent at A&M and I like it that way. We are NOT tu. Let’s not get caught up in the dumb ranks!!

Nah it’s def PKT, it’s a UT thing and it’s from an article in Texas Monthly from the 70’s talking about PKT and the big 6 there.

Kappa Pi Phi and Theta are the top 3 national sororities. It’s PKT at UT Only. Pi Phi and Kappa uT chapters were first on UT campus.

No it’s really not a thing except for at tu & there are other Southern schools where for ex Theta is bottom and ADPi is top. So not accurate EXCEPT at tu. And it is pi Phi Kappa Theta there, not Tri Delt.

Just for accuracy-
PTK is also a Texas Tech, SMU, OU, etc thing. For those that are saying it's only a UT thing, it is in fact not. May have originated at Texas but it's all over the South, hit or miss some schools, but its a fact. And the moron who originally posted it was using Tri Delt in place of Theta to be cheeky. Why zeta was brought in who even remotely cares.
