Theta or Gphi????

I know I know I need to go with my gut, but rush is a lot different than when you’re actually in the sorority. My last two are gphi and theta, what would be the better option. I like to go to parties (that’s not all that I care about) and I’ve heard theta doesn’t do that so idk

All houses have diverse groups of women & I can guarantee if you go Theta you will find girls who like to go out just like you would in any other house. Reputations exist because people keep repeating rumors. The truth is with chapters as big as the ones at A&M, you will find your group within the larger chapter & nm class. Go to pref & then go with your gut!

Go G Phi- They have a sweet sisterhood and I know some thetas that wish they were more involved and were more "fun"

Theta literally doesn't do anything
They came in last sigma chi derby days and literally didn't try

I see more g phis at ng, don't think I've ever seen a theta partying. theta has a closer sisterhood

i’ve personally met tons of both gphis and thetas at parties so you should be fine wherever you go!! go with your gut

I personally know thetas that go to parties. I would go theta before gphi. It’s a more respected sorority on campus. You can party and be friends with girls from multiple sororities. I went out with girls from lots of sororities. but it feels good to have a sorority with a good sisterhood and reputation. Theta is better at both of those things. I highly recommend theta.

I had both of these houses on pref as well. Both houses go out and party! Theta just isn’t known for that. I wish you the best of luck and hope you find your home! But also partying shouldn’t be the only factor you’re considering in greek life and joining a sisterhood.

PNM: DONT listen to Greek rank girl! Sis, if your deciding factor on what sorority you want to go is partying... reconsider why you’re rushing. There are literally all types of girls in Greek life & both houses, of COURSE there are girls that go out in theta, it’s COLLEGE. There are girls they don’t go out in gphi.. so honestly just think about what’s actually important to you. If it’s partying alone, reevaluate yourself..
