by: QuestionWhat are yalls honest experiences with gphi? I was dropped from my legacy right before pref but I still have gphi on my list. I like them but I don’t know a lot about them

They are great girls and if you attend pref night you are guaranteed a bid. I have friends in GPhi and you will love them. Consider yourself lucky - some girls won’t have an invite to pref. Sorry about your legacy - unfortunately many sororities had more legacies this year than they could accept. Remember we are all more alike than different.

There are lots of opinions on them and lots of different types of girls in gphi. There are girls that go out every night to northgate and others who are in it for the sisterhood and others who no one knows how they got in. They do have a close sisterhood tho so if you’re looking for that go for it. Honestly just go with your gut and try it out and you can always drop

This is the same for every single sorority on this campus. All chapters have girls who are partiers, girls who are religious. Girls who care about grades, girls who are in it for philanthropy and sisterhood, and girls who love sorority life for all of those reasons. Chapters here at A&M are way more alike than they are different. Whatever letters you end up with, you will have a great experience if you go all in.

yea like I know how competitive it is and how lucky I am to have any chapters still on my list, not trying to be insensitive/full of myself. I’ve just heard mixed opinions and I want to make sure I’ll be able to make close friends/be happy
