Spring Rush/ Snap

It’s not usually advertised and you have pretty much know someone in the house to get one. Usually less than 5 spots.

I suggest going through with what you have or dropping and going through fall recruitment next year. The good thing about keeping what you have is that there are good girls in every sorority and through recruitment, you usually only meet so few of them. To do rush again in the fall if you dropped, it doesnt look good because all the houses will remember but you have another chance.

Don’t count on spring recruitment. My sorority had spring this past year because we had some seniors graduating so we dropped below total. Not by many—I think we only had like 6 or 8 spots. We had over 75 girls interested. The grade cutoff was insane as a result. It’s kind of a unicorn tbh because we don’t even always have spots in spring

Just go through pref and see what happens. Don’t give up on the process and don’t bet on snaps. Snaps and spring recruitment give people a very false sense of hope.

I’ve decided to stay with it:) I had the best convo with DZ yesterday. I did my research and realized AXO dirty rushed me and all of my friends. Not on my list anymore, which made it easy to know where I want be. Thanks for the advise!
