you never know what houses are looking for, it’s not your fault! I am sorry that this happened to you. still be open minded because you may love the other houses, everything happens for a reason!

this year is very different than the previous years. since everything was virtual, connections and involvement played A LOT in recruitment. you never know what the houses are looking for, and even if you may have been a “good fit” for a house, you may have just talked to the wrong people and they didn’t like you as much. If you are still going through recruitment, keep an open mind. You might end up falling in love with one of those houses! good luck and I hope you find your home <3

For the “top” houses it’s a numbers game. They have to cut so many the first rounds. So if you don’t know a lot of them especially this year, you probably get cut.

This is recruitment. It could be anything at all, but like others said, this year more than ever it’s who you know. Sometimes it just comes down to luck tbh
