legacy policies :/

how do legacies work? meaning like which ones care that you’re a legacy to their chapter & how far does it get u? thanks! :)

should at least get you through the first round, after that it’s dependent on what that chapters national rules are

Some chapters have done away with legacy policies

Legacies used to matter a lot more, but I know of quite a few chapters that are no longer required to keep their legacies past the first round if they don’t feel they are a good fit. If you are leaning towards your legacy house as a favorite then make sure that you make a good impression and let them know that you enjoy your time with them!

If you are a Legacy, your family member will know what their sorority’s legacy policy is. You can probably google it too.

If you’re not a Legacy, don’t worry about the pnm’s who are. Tons of non-legacies get bids and many legacies pledge something other than their legacy.
