Let’s talk so-called “top” houses
by: PlsCan we pleeeaze talk about Kappa & Tri Delt!? Why does anyone think they are top houses?!? A cliquey-er, unfriendly, elitist bunch of wannabes I could not name. They have zero interest in getting out of their high school bull— bubbles & meeting anyone else. Kappa couldn’t care less about their philanthropy. Tri Delt is BORING. I would venture to say that Kappa is at least better than Tri Delt because they know what they are & don’t care. Tri Delt tries to pretend they are sweet & inclusive but they aren’t fooling anyone

I’m from SA and had a full list on sisterhood with DDD. This is obviously inaccurate.....literally just be yourself.

Woah lol. My comment got deleted? The only thing I said that would’ve caused a sorority to PAY to have it deleted was that kappa no longer is allowed to volunteer at their local philanthropy because Scottys house asked them to stop coming. If you look online they no longer list scottys house as a Philanthropy of theirs. Embarrassing that kappa would pay to remove that.

Agreeing with some you say, but Kappa does care about their philanthropy and actually volunteers at schools and outs on events for kids. Tri Delt does NOTHING for nobody! They raise money (usually just their parents helping them) for a hospital in Nashville that they do nothing for. I like the chapters that actually get out an volunteer and where members can make a direct difference in someone’s life.

kappas have the option to go do in person volunteering but hardly any of them actually do

Honestly though. If tridelt and kappa didn’t cut so ruthlessly the first round people would respect them more. It’s obvious they don’t give girls a fair shot. So pnms don’t ever get to really go through their rush. They get cut first day and then the only thing they ever know about tridelt/kappa is what they hear from other sorority girls who also don’t like tridelt and kappa.
So it’s kinda their own faults. But they’ll never not cut so ruthlessly because Panhellenic literally requires them to cut more girls than other sororities. The better you do during rush (the higher your return rate) the higher percent Panhellenic asks you to cut each round during the following years’s rush
