What’s the equivalent to pkt

UT has PKT. (Pi phi, kappa, theta) which are the three top sororities that historically only take rich well connected girls. what’s the equivalent of that at A&M?

Probably DG, AXO, Zeta. It's laughable when we, Tech and any other school try to play "PKT" it's just not a thing anywhere other than Texas. Kappa is the only house even hardly relevant of the three here and Pi Phi is the only relevant one at Tech. It's even worse in the SEC. But going back to Dallas or Houston in a PK or T shirt (without the school on it) is all worth it.

PKT at other TX schools (SMU, TTU, UT) are practically the same type of girls. A&M has type A & B sororities there is no big 3 houses that compete for the same type of girl and they definitely don’t include PKT.

We don’t really have one. Refer to previous threads. It’s more type A and B as another person said. There’s your more connected, wealthier girls which are Kappa and Tri Delt. But that’s about it.

It would be kappa tridelt without a doubt and if you had to include a third it would be chio. These three compete for a certain type of girl going through rush and that girl only considers these three. It’s basically the exact same thing.

The closest two are Kappa & Tri Delt.

Absolutely not ZTA / DG. Those are top chapters too but more draw from the top suburban girls than the top Texas Old Money high schools and camps.

“PKT” type houses are where the top girls pledge from Highland Park / Memorial/ Alamo Heights / Hockaday / ESD / St John’s and maybe throw in a few Midland or Tyler debutante who went to Camp Waldemar. Here that’s Kappa and Tri Delt, with ChiO / Theta / PiPhi taking the other girls from those schools who are quality but not the top picks.
