How to get a bid?
by: From a PNMHi y’all I’m a PNM and I’m very nervous about recruitment this year! Hoping someone can help. I’ve ALWAYS wanted to be a Kappa but now I’m reading things about them only recruiting from certain schools and other houses cutting because of zip codes? I’m wondering given recruitment being virtual this year how I’m even going to get a bid? I’m from a small town and a small school so IDK anyone and none of my family has rlly even gone to college so no sorority legacy & starting to think Greek life might not be for me but I still dream of being a Kappa Pls help???

first i really can’t tell if this is a joke or not... most girls don’t dream of going a certain sorority unless they are a legacy or they have friends in that house already.. but if youre being serious, its not the right mentality to go into rush wanting only one house ESPECIALLY if you arent a leg/ don’t have connections. maybe ask yourself what your intentions are behind wanting to join Greek life and make a list of what you’re looking for in a house. be yourself throughout the recruitment process and prioritize the houses that you feel comfortable in/ that fit the list you made :)
