PNMs: thoughts on virtual rush

Rush is officially virtual for the first few rounds and I was wondering the pnm thoughts on this.

I was wondering what other people were going to do but i think im not going to rush anymore. i don’t really know girls in houses here and dont think i Can win people over in a one minute video

Trust me the one minute video will not make or break you. Your resume, letters of recommendation and in person conversations will be much more important. Connections don’t matter as much at a&m

yeah but i guarantee every girl will have pretty similar resumes (nhs, sports/cheer, etc) and when houses are cutting after round one I don’t think my one minute video is going to make me stand out especially since i don’t know many actives

Any PNM who is having mixed feelings about rush rn please don’t let the virtual rounds steer you away! I promise even if you don’t know girls in the chapters there is SOMETHING in your video that will make you unique and not overlooked! There is a home for you and you will be meeting girls in the last rounds so don’t let the first two rounds be off putting to you!

Here is the #1 reason to go through recruitment this year—only two days in the heat. Seriously, You won’t spend hours on end just sitting in the heat. It’s draining.

I feel like when you DO go to the houses for Sisterhood and Pref, you will see the actual girls and not the outfits, decorations, etc. it will get rid of a lot of pretentiousness.

I’m still so excited! I’m worried it will be hard to make connections with people, but at least we have sisterhood and pref in person. A lot of schools just have pref!
