kinda curious about rankings

Sooo I’m a pnm planning on going through fall recruitment. I’ve seen a bunch of posts saying to not listen to Greek Rank and to give each sorority a chance and I 100% agree but I do have a question...

Why is ADPi/Gphi/AOPi hated on so much? From all the posts I’ve seen, they are always ranked bottom but y’all also say that they are the most genuine and unique group of girls and they are different because they act themselves. Why is it that the top sororities are the ones that are considered the most fake/lack sisterhood? I also heard that the top ones zip code and are money-based. Why are the bottom tiers, the ones who are “genuine” and the ones you can form a close knit group in, ranked bottom? Isn’t that what exemplifies sisterhood and the sorority experience? Just genuinely curious!

So that’s just it. The ones that are “top” tend to be the most hung up on looks and money. The ones at the “bottom” are not based on that at all. I’m in a mid to low mid and would much rather be there than in the supposed top.

Just go through and make your own opinion. Each sorority has a stereotype yes, but I swear there are unique girls in every single house. You will know your home when you step foot in that house, and you wouldn’t want to pick a “top” house over a house that felt like home. Your sisters are for life!
