Sororities most likely to pick someone of color?

by: :)

I'm thinking about going through recruitment, but many of the sororities' social media don't have or show little diversity. Are there people of color in all sororities, or should I not bother going through recruitment? t.i.a.

You should 100% rush. The issue with diversity in sororities is that not that many women of color go through recruitment and then when other women of color see the lack of diversity in sorority’s they assume it’s due to racism etc. maybe some sorority’s at older schools are like that but at A&M greek life has only been around since the 70’s so recruitment is pretty relaxed for an SEC school. I will say that some stats like KD and Adpi are known for being more diverse at A&M. I have faith you will find your place! Good luck!

In addition to Panhellenic, there are sororities in NPHC and MGC that are all culturally-based organizations. You may find your place in CPC during recruitment but don't forget there are other options in the Aggie Greek community that may be a better fit.
