rush is VIRTUAL
by: gossipgirlokay ladies, I can confirm that rush is going to be virtual. It was announced at a meeting that was supposed to be confidential, but dz (go figure) leaked it in their Facebook group and then deleted it after and told everyone to forget they saw it. I wouldn’t even bother rushing virtually. Just wait until you’re a sophomore. The reality is, if you can’t even hold recruitment in person, none of your sorority events would be in person either. The whole idea is that we can’t gather in large groups, and that isn’t going to change any time soon.

As someone who is on recruitment team for a sorority, I can tell you right now, that is false. Right now they are waiting for TAMU’s rules on the number of people. The DZ jumped to conclusions. Looking like things will be in person. Quit sharing false informatjon. Plus, as someone who clearly lived thru the heat of fall recruitment.... Imagine virtual recruitment IN AC!!! HA. Jk.

I’ve seen DZ’s Facebook post and they said the first two rounds were virtual and that a decision had not been made about the last two rounds. Wait and you’ll see that the first two rounds WILL be virtual.

gf they just don’t want to release it yet because they are worried how everyone is going to take it before they have all the details straightened out. It’s just to avoid mass panic but it’s definitely true.
