Sorority Impressions

Based on what I have seen on campus, involvement, and contribution to greek life as a whole.

Alpha Chi Omega: Full of girls who care about looks and popularity. Maybe a few nice ones, but they are rare. That being said, certainly do have that pretty girl vibe, so if that’s what you’re looking for, go for it. Like to party.

Alpha Delta Pi: Really want to make themselves known, but they've been at the bottom for so long no one will give them the chance to rise. Sweet girls.

Alpha Omicron Pi: Have the potential to rise eventually, once they get a new house.

Chi Omega: Has some pretty girls, religious, seen often as the girls who think they are better than others because of their relationship with Christ. Heard they pick out their girls before recruitment starts, but definitely seem to have a good sisterhood.

Tri Delta: A lot of people think this is a top house, but I think it is more national reputation than anything else. Don't seem too passionate about their philanthropy, but seem to have a good sisterhood. Definitely look for girls who are religious, but allegedly they dirty rush along with Chi O.

Delta Gamma: Pretty girls. I’ve met a few that are sweet and genuine, but it seems that the newer MCs are the stereotypical superficial sorority girls. Because of this, sisterhood is good, but definitely more clique based.

Delta Zeta: Party like AXO. A lot of people see AXO and DZ as sister sororities, in the fact that they are similar in what they look for in a girl. Heard they are nicer though.

Gamma Phi Beta: A good mix of pretty, nice girls. Heard their sisterhood is okay, but not great. People definitely look over this house during recruitment, because they are probably the most diverse chapter on campus.

Kappa Alpha Theta: If you are a nice, church-going gal, this is the sorority for you. Don’t seem to mix that much with frats. They seem to be distant from other sororities because of this, but they have a good reputation.

Kappa Delta: Have a good amount of pretty girls, but definitely focus more on personality, so they have a good sisterhood. Seem to have tried to change their vibe the last couple of recruitment years, but are still overlooked by a lot of PNMS.

Kappa Kappa Gamma: Like to party and not too involved on campus, but have mostly nice and pretty girls. Have a bigger national rep than anything else.

Pi Beta Phi: Heard that the girls in this house are either partiers or completely innocent. Don’t know much about this house, but they seem like a good choice.

Zeta Tau Alpha: Definitely top house for a reason. Filled with pretty girls and have a philanthropy that is easy to support. Contrary to a lot of people's opinions, all the girls I’ve interacted with from this house were really nice. Some do stick true to the stereotype however.
