The reason big 6 isn’t a thing here is because your version of “top” can be so different from anyone else’s. Is it based off looks? Prestige? Reputation? Wealth? Fundraising? It all depends and each year it’s gonna be different, so no one really has a good answer. A lot of the “popular” houses at A&M are only popular because everyone just seems to agree with what someone made up years ago ... they don’t necessarily do the most or are that known on campus.

There’s not a big 6 here. Anyone can tell you who they first 6 houses they would rank in a ranking order are, but it’s not the same as other schools bc the difference between chapters isn't as significant. At A&M, chapters all have distinct personalities but there aren’t major factors that make certain ones significantly better than others. It’s all about who you ask and what that judgment is based on.

This is based off there national reputations as well and the fact that most of the time girls from big cities and well known schools end up in these sororities. Girls from westlake, austin high, stratford, memorial, alamo heights, etc. Where as DG is only really a top house if you are from the suburbs.
