spring rush as a sophomore

Hello!

I just transferred from A&M Galveston to A&M College Station and wanted to rush this spring but I've been told that it is going to very hard since no one gives out bids. Should I still give it a shot of rushing? or would rushing as a Junior during fall be better?

honestly i think it just depends how willing you are to settle, which i know i wouldnt be. i know my chapter doesnt do spring rush and i know most others dont so you really wont have a very wide selection between houses. i would honestly say wait till fall even though formal rush is literally such a hard and draining experience, youll be more likely to find the house that you fit best in. and my pc has 2 juniors in it! they have to bring in a certain number of upperclassmen to reach quota. hope this was helpful(:

You can always call the office of Greek life to see who is taking part in COB. Check those chapters out. If you don't feel that you fit you can always rush in the fall.
