sorority and flo?

by: Freshman

Would it be too much to join a sorority and also try and get into a FLO? If anyone has done this, did you think it was too much time commitment to do both and juggle classes?

I was in a FLO this past yr and honestly it's not a big time commitment, meetings once a week MAYBE twice if you're planning an event, and my flo had optional attendance too (points system) so I'd say it's pretty doable and common to be in both

Do some sororities require that you join another org?

All like that you are. We liked our girls to be well rounded and involved on campus further than just the sorority. That said, most sororities do a point system of some kind to ensure you’re an active member. Being in other orgs would be a way to make some of your required points.

Highly recommend a flo!!! Just make sure flo meetings don’t overlap sorority ones, you’ll want to go to all meetings that you can to get the full experience.
