They can cut you for whatever reason they want. For some, if you have a low gpa and don't have the connections you're out. If they don't think you'll fit in in some way you're out. There's no way they'll know you have a record unless you tell them. All being cut means is they stop contacting you and there's no way you get a bid

Plus, some frats don’t take Blinn students. That seems to be a deal breaker a lot of the time. They’ll take Blinn-TEAM, but not actual full-Blinn guys. A guy could fit in fine and meet all the other standards of recruitment that the frat chapter is looking for but if he is Blinn he is cut for sure. However some frats still take Blinn guys “under the table”, i think sae and sigma chi are the ones that are most known to do this but idek if they still do

It’s sooooo much informal than sorority rush... the things they said above are true, plus the frat usually asks around about you to see if you have a good/bad reputation. Like they tend to ask ppl from your hometown/highschool, girls that know you, and the mutual friends that got you interested in that frat. Like if a lot of girls unanimously say you’re a creep, or crazy, or socially awkward, or another kind of deal-breaker the frat finds out about you, then you’ll get cut.

Some could cut you just for dressing weird or because you don’t know anyone already in the frat. Others could cut you for something they hear about you, like a bad reputation.

If you get cut, you wouldn’t have fit in with the whole chapter, so just try another frat, there’s a lot to choose from

Pike won't cut you. Anyone can get a bid from them so don't worry lol. you don't want to be a pike. Trust me on that.
