aopi??

by: help

I'm a sophomore so I don't want to do formal rush as a junior. Should I try for AOPi?? (What is the rep they are gaining?) Try for COB or just join a women's organization?

It doesn't hurt to try COB! Go meet all of the girls and see how you get along! All of the girls I've met our super nice and friendly and seem to fit right in with the rest of greek life at A&M. AOPi is going to be really successful at A&M!

I've heard aopi is really expensive and they have no house so by the time they'll get one you'll have graduated. I've heard lots of people quit bc of it, but to each is own. I'd try COB, personally.

I have friends in the chapter, and only a few people quit in relation to how many are members...but that's expected in any sorority chapter

you've got nothing to lose, I say go for it. honestly speaking, it's a much better chance for you to join through cob than as a junior through formal rush, and if you join now that's one extra semester of fun you'll have with your sisters

as far as their rep, I haven't heard anything bad about aopi and the girls I've met seem to fit in great with the Greek system here...I think they're still building their rep though so if you feel like you can make a positive contribution then I assume they'll like you
