I'll be an incoming freshmen next year and will be majoring in engineering, would joining a fraternity be a good decision or shall i get accumulated in college first. Also, would joining an org like ACE be better. Would rushing sophomore year be better?

it all depends on if you'll think you'd be able to balance the time commitment to your semester of pledgeship with your commitment to school... and im not gonna lie, engineering is pretty tough. but still i know there's plenty of engineering guys who rushed their fall semester freshman year and their grades were great.
and dont worry, the adjustment to college freshman year is going to be tough for anyone, if you feel like you want to wait then its not big deal, lots of guys rush their sophomore year after getting fully adjusted to college

ACE will not be better. They aren't comparable in the slightest. If you want to join a fraternity, rush, figure out your options, and join one if you like the guys. If you do it'll be completely worth it. If you don't, it's pointless. As far as engineering goes, there's tons of engineers in top frats like KA, Fiji, and Sig Ep. It's definitely doable

there's tons of engineers in almost any frat, it's A&M lol....But the person above is right. Just find out if you like kind of the guys in the frat or not, and focus on the kind of rushees you're with and what they're like because they could be your future pledge bros.
