by: TbhThe sororities at A&M don't really have a top 5 anymore, it's more like top 8. And if you want to comment that this is BS, I'm guessing you are in what was top 5 and you wish this wasn't becoming true.

Not saying your "top 8" are bad by any means but you're lying to yourself if you think they are all even.... there are some that are definitely above the others. Sorry.
The one is posted this is obviously someone desperate who needs validation that she's in a good sorority hahaha

That above comment is absolutely true. I personally would say Tridelt and zeta are top and kappa a little below and then the others as middle but still accurate on everything else.

This is definitely how I see it. Not sure how kappa got top on this site. Going in I thought I wanted to go kappa, but I'm so glad I wasn't in a sorority that had no social events for an entire semester!

Not really tiers. Just like personalities
More well rounded girls with connections:
Tridelt, kappa, dg
More low key but chill, the nice goody girls:
Pi phi, theta, chi o, kd
More partying/cares about looks:
Zeta, axo, dz
(FYI: none of that is a rank, that's just how I'm organizing it)
I think I'm forgetting a couple but I feel for the most part (obviously there's girls of all ranges in every sorority) the girls in these groups are generally the most similar to each other.

I think DG is absolutely with the Zeta, AXO, Dz group. They totally rush the same girls and get the ones who don't go Zeta or occasionally KKG. Usually small town or suburbs. They are beautiful, fun girls and a great chapter but connections are not a thing at DG, Zeta, AXO. No one from Alamo Heights, Highland Park, or Memorial is going anything except Tri delta or KKG or if that doesn't work out Pi Phi, Chi O, or maybe Tneta. Truth.

DG kind of fits in between the "well rounded" category and the "partying/looks" category. I agree that they rush the pretty dancer types, but their girls are also involved on-campus and get good grades. Personally I find them well rounded, but like the above poster mentioned, they're not necessarily wealthy or well-connected.
Pi Phi, Theta, and XO have more presence with big city and wealthy small town girls, but I'd say that DG is maybe more well-rounded. But I agree with the original #6, sororities here are definitely grouped by personality, not rank!

I know a Westlake girl in the "bottom 4" and she is one of the sweetest, nicest girls in my class. I've hung out with her out of class, and she is not a bratty, pretentious, rich girl at all! Some ladies just want a chill sorority experience. Not everyone wants a rah rah rah, competitive, instagram-perfect sorority.
Lots of very good girls in all the sororities here. Even the new one :)

Not true at all. Girls that get a Tridelt bid don't go dg. Girls that get a kappa bid don't do pi phi. Girls that get a zeta bid don't go kd. Sorry it just doesn't happen. We know that there is not a top 8 or top 5 because if so you'd see girls choosing dg chio kd and piphi and others over Tridelt kappa and maybe even zeta. But that doesn't happen. So there is a top three. And then a dispute between those top three for who's number one. I'd say zeta and Tridelt are better than kappa because even though their rush results are all great, rush isn't necessarily the only thing that matters. But it is the biggest. After that it just depends on what you're into. So ya, if you can have your pick of the top three you might pick on personalities of the chapter, but you don't pick a lower tier sorority based on personality. And that's simply the truth. (I've known zeta to be an exception because a lot of girl dislike their rep but most rushies don't care)

I know plenty of girls who have gotten who went to "top tier" on pref and put your so -called "middle tier" as their top choice. Some of them were quite well known this past year. And try-delt, please! They stack their girls with they hometown favs but they also go to Blinn! How do Blinn team girls make for a top A&M sorority! That's laughable!

Kappa, Tri Delta, and Zeta are clearly top.
I think in that order but who is best in top tier depends on who you ask. Any order could be argued.
Middle: tier
DG, Chi O, Pi Phi, Theta
AXO
Maybe in that order but again depends on who you ask. Those are all great sororities but probably all of them would have preferred one of top three on pref day which makes them a little below in my honest opinion. I know....DG and Chi O will go nuts with that order and comment but it is the truth.
