women's organizations ranking

Top tier sororities: ZTA, DDD, DG, KKG, XO

Top women's orgs: Maggie's, Belles
-
Mid tier sororities & better known women's orgs: PBP, AXO, KAT, Sweethearts, Ryllies, Legacies
-
Lower tier sororities: KD, GPB
-
Lesser-known but established women's orgs: Darlings, CALI, Gems
-
Bottom sororities: DZ, ADPI
-
All the random women's orgs people haven't heard of

There are Maggies girls constantly scouring this board, snooping around and trying to pick up on what's trendy. There's a handful on GR ready to spam away. They're worse than GPhi about that, really.
And there is NO WAY in all that is holy that Maggies is better in any way that Pi Phi, AXO, Theta. Just absolutely not. This person is full of it. Even DZ is better. And with ADPi at least you have a lifetime membership with something larger than just A&M.
Rush a women's organization if you feel that sorority life would be too stressful for you or take up too much of your time and you're looking for a more chill group. But know that there's a clear difference.

I don't think even the best womens orgs can compare to our top or mid tier sororities. They don't have nationals, they're not as big or well funded, they don't have houses, and they don't have as strong of an alumni base. BUT the quality of their girls is probably about right for the "ranking" posted above.
That being said, being in a women's org of any type is honestly going to be better than being a DZ or ADPi. And I'm not saying that to be mean, but being in a women's org won't ever count against you. Being in DZ or ADPi is like a red flag to a lot of people. I'm not saying it's right, but the fact is that our bottom 2 sororities have a pretty bad stigma

But DZ and ADPI are top sororities at other schools so I wouldn't worry about it giving u a bad rep after college. That's just dumb. It's just something to be involved in. I know great girls and not so great girls in every sorority and women's orgs. You should really not look for advice on this site either. Ask around. Don't listen to the rankings on here either. While I agree that DZ and ADPI are bottom, I don't agree that Chi O is top at all. I think the mid and top on here are interchangeable. So it's really just an opinion.

The whole point of a woman's org is that it is not a sorority! Sisterhood doesn't have to cost thousands of dollars! I've noticed women's orgs are more optional and laid back as well as nicer and more down to earth. No expectations come as you are and meet awesome friends.
Personal Views:
Maggies- quality girls super established best on campus
Belles- big established popular
Darlings- seem like the nicest southern belles to walk the planet new not very organized but a good mix of all types of girls don't judge super down to earth
Ryllies- established haven't heard much super selective
Legacies- SERVICE organization to look good on resume
Sweethearts- wannabe sorority girls too good for everyone else and don't except if not white tall skinny "perfect" stuck up super exclusive
Blossoms- weirdest girls on campus but nice and welcoming
Classics- under the radar not heard much, weird girls
Jems- super annoying wannabes
Emeralds- outcasts super small

That's not really true at all. I know we like to think sorority life is the be-all and end-all here but we have some really strong non-greek womens' orgs. The best womens orgs, like Belles and Maggies, are probably about equal with a mid tier sorority. And I'd say that most the established womens orgs are still a solid step above our worst sororities (DZ and ADPI)
