I think it's over due for someone to rank based on what sororities are actually like right now and not stick to the same old idea of what a good house is so here goes. This also takes into account the new pledge class.

Agree chio is getting worse every year but pi phi and axo are still no where near chio. There's a huge gap between the top and the middle and chio having some bad pledge classes won't push them all the way to the middle. They're just at the very bottom of the top.

I'd say the original is right with Tridelt and zeta being a bit above the rest. They're the most wanted during rush, the most repped on campus, and easily the top sororities. Boys want to hangout with them and girls cry when they cut them. The other three fight for girls that Tridelt and zeta cut I think. Tridelt and zeta don't normally fight for the same girls but they definitely take the ones they want.

You're obviously not tridelt or kappa. Or you're very confused. There is an extremely small amount of girls that go to tridelt on pref and do NOT go to KKG too. Like extremely small. Most "top" girls during rush are torn between tridelt and kkg and sometimes xo. And most of the time it's completely split down the middle on where they go. Except for last year when xo and kappa got most of the top girls. If you're a ZTA or DG you don't have an opinion on that. You wouldn't even know who our "top, most wanted" girls are anyway... How would you know who got who? Lol

Well that's your opinion isn't it? A lot of girls are drawn to kappa because of its laid back vibe. And they for sure don't have a terrible rep. They just aren't everyone's cup of tea. Which is fine. IMO kappa and tridelt are the top two houses because they take the best girls. Zeta is below. I don't hink being a house just full of pretty girls who can dance and guys like to hook up with makes zeta a top house.
ALSO, tridelt didn't havent a better rush this year. There were so many top girls going through. Kappa got basically every girl they wanted. Best of the best girls were split down the middle. You wouldn't know though haha

Kappa is still very much top. They had a very good rush. Tri Delta and Zeta did not do as well this year as they have in previous years, but all 3 are still top houses.
XO has probably fallen the most this year. DG recruited a good class and has stayed the same. Pi Phi, and especially Theta and AXO are getting much better. Based on PC16 alone, there should be 5 sororities in mid-tier. Maybe DG, XO, Pi Phi are upper-mid. I didn't see huge differences between XO and Pi Phi's PC. And AXO did really well this year and had high retention rates.
Everyone else did well too, but maybe not enough to overtake anyone else in the mid 5.

Kappa is def still good but I don't think they compare to Tridelt or zeta. Tridelt and zeta are much more desired than kappa. Kappa only appeals to a few girls from select areas. If you aren't from that area kappa just is not good.

I went through rush last month and Kappa was my top house, and lots of other girls in my hall liked them too. They had a very fun, cool, and lively vibe. I also liked Zeta and DG but not Tri Delta and XO so much.

about kkg being 'top' at all. tri delt and zeta were at the top of every girl's list. kkg still good but not top. i'd say dg/xo are above kkg and ddd at the very top w zeta.

WTF DG and XO above Kappa? Okay, I can understand people who say that XO and DG and the other top sororities being in a "top 5" or something but no one thinks that Kappa is below those two.
Are you sure you're not just one salty person making all these Kappa troll posts and replying over and over to your own comments?

I think this ranking is perfect. I know Chi O and DG think they are way better than rest on that level but I know a lot of people who liked those others as much or more during recruitment.

You can't compare the top 5 without including all of them because they are so different. You can't say most girls wanted tridelt/zeta when more than half the girls who went to tridelt on pret didn't even go to zeta. They are looking at completely different girls so you have to separate.
Tridelt vs kappa vs xo : xo dropped below both of them after rush this year, even though they normally do fairly well. I would say the most wanted girls between kappa/tridelt was split between the two of them this year evenly. Tridelt may be more prevalent on campus but they are still neck in neck during Rush.
Zeta vs DG: zeta is undeniably higher than dg
You can't lump them together. It's personal preference on what the actually rankings are, and usually depends on what "side" you leaned more toward during rush

Are nice, cute, classy, and smart. I think a lot of girls like them during rush. I am not saying they are tip top, but they are a good house. They aren't known for being too wild or too Bible beater. I personally prefer them to both Chi O and DG. My opinion

I think DG is stronger than Chi O now.
ZTA got the type of girls they always recruit. Still top but the grades and reputation always keep them from being respected.
AXO did well this year and so did Theta. Theta needed a good recruitment and they got it.
Kappa did very well again, great class. TriDelt did well - but they have not dominated in last few years.
Pi Phi got a good class!!

Zeta's grades have actually been pretty good the past few semesters.
I don't know why the latest grade summaries have been taken down from the OFSL website, but when I checked, they were like #4 or #5 in Fall 2015 and tied with a few sororities in the middle of the pack in Spring 2016. They're definitely not stupid.
