ΔΔΔ ΚΚΓ ΚΑ ΦΓΔ: Top tier. Great organizations with quality people but only considered top houses because of thejr history. Back when greek life was small this is where all the rich sons and daughters of VIPs went so they were top, but now that greek life is getting big they really don't have anything that makes them stand out over other orgs besides their old money reputation.
ΖΤΑ ΔΓ ΣΑΕ ΣΦΕ: Top tier. If this was any other school these would be the top houses instead. They have the hot girls, big parties, nice houses, and popularity/social presence that others don't. But because they're not a part of the "old money clique" the above orgs separate them out as being "lower top"
ΧΩ ΒΘΠ: not sure what to make of them. Both used to be considered top houses a long time ago, mainly based off the same old money mentality. But ΧΩ has become increasingly isolated and ΒΘΠ has pretty much collapsed as a fraternity. People in ΔΔΔ ΚΚΓ ΚΑ ΦΓΔ consider them lower top as well just based on background and connections but anyone else pretty much considers them irrelevant
ΠΒΦ ΑΧΩ ΚΑΘ ΔΤΔ ΣΧ: mid tier. Solid organizations with a lot of great people but simply not as strong as the others and typically aren't anyone's first pick during recruitment
ΚΔ ΓΦΒ ΠΚΑ ΠΚΦ ΣΝ ΚΣ: lower tier. Average joes and plain janes. Still good organizations but being in one isn't the same as the experience you would have with any of the bigger ones
ΔΖ ΑΔΠ anyone other frat: bottom

Can we just all agree that there are 4 top tier frats and 4 top strats? They're all pretty much equal anyways and closer in "rank" to eachother than middle tier.
The exception is that XO is moving down and DG is replacing them. They may not have completely switched yet but will in the next few years.

Money only matters from a "can they pay dues" standpoint. Zip codes / hometown only matter as a kind of reference point for getting into a Greek org. Do you really think someone's going to get cut from an "elite" fraternity/sorority because they aren't rich? Or because they aren't from HP/AH/Mem? If you're cool and genuine and interested then you're going to get in where you want to.

It's not the money itself it's the status and the background. No one gets cut because they're not rich. But when an organization priority bids everyone from those areas first it pushes out the chances of a cool person from a different area getting a bid, especially when certain organization adopt an attitude that people from other regions and backgrounds are beneath them

Probably the fact that they don't really associate with the rest of greek life or have much of a social presence. That and they don't really seem to have much fraternity relations, most the fraternity guys I know except for Fiji's say they've never even met a Chi O

They hang out mainly with Fiji, KA, Beta, and mens organizations. People probably say they're isolated because they don't party

half of XO parties and the other half doesn't..just like DDD..and if you say they're not as pretty you probably haven't met one...your post is so ignorant...love from AXO

But their chapter as a whole isn't as pretty or socially present as Tridelt. XO and DDD compete with each other for girls maybe more than any other two sororities do. And DDD always ends up with their number one picks while XO takes the left overs. That's honestly just the truth.

I know quite a few girls who went chi o over tri delt..and yes I know they could've gone either way. the fact that chi o and tri delt even compete for legacies (hell..even sitting sisters) speaks highly of both chapters. they are both GREAT sororities and these girls will even be found hanging out with each other. they are so so similar and both so great that calling one a bunch of leftovers is inaccurate. so many girls go into rush with their hearts set on chi o and so many other girls go in with their hearts set on tri delt. it has less to do with the girl, and more to do with which house they are more familiar with..also this thread is about DG so why are we talking about chi o and tri delt

Dear, you should scroll up and take a look at this thread. This isn't the DG bashing thread. But nice to know you're thinking that it's all about hating on DG while talking up XO.

Chi O did not do well last year and did not have one of the highest retention rates, they list so many girls after skit, FACT

I love how you can see the major difference between frats and sororities here just from the comments. the girls here are all seething with rage trying to argue everything out about who's better than who while all the guys are probably just like "yup, that's how it is, who cares lets drink"

I agree. But admitting that there's a top 4 for fraternities or sororities makes some feel threatened so they won't
