will dropping a men's org to rush a fraternity

I spent my first year at A&M in a men's organization however, I have decided that I want to drop it and rush a fraternity in the fall. Will having been in a men's org hurt my chances of getting a bid?

I wouldn't bring it up during rush.

no it won't, just make sure it's not a Greek letter men's org like BYX because there are rules about that.
