Alpha Delta Pi - ΑΔΠ Sorority at Texas A&M University College Station - TAMU 2.4 As a former ADPI, if I could do it all over again, I wouldn’t join. I honestly think I would’ve been better off in a different women’s org—probably would’ve made closer, more genuine friends and saved a lot of money too. There are definitely some sweet and down-to-earth girls in ADPI, and not everyone fits the typical “sorority girl” stereotype (that goes for every sorority, really). But overall, the vibe was pretty cliquey—especially with the exec team. You can literally tell who’s in the “in crowd” just by scrolling through their Instagram. If you’re not part of that friend group, you kind of feel left out. Also, like most sororities, recruitment can feel fake. A girl might act like she’s dying to be your bestie just to get you to join—but once you’re in, she’ll barely acknowledge you. That’s not always the case, but I’d say it happens about 85% of the time.

There is not one adpi that I know that is happy to be in this sorority. Always complaining about exec team and how they talk crap about everyone. The sad thing is there are so many great girls in the sorority and the new exec team and instagram chair’s friend group continues to be fake. They have ruined what ADPI stands for - true sisterhood and inclusion. Recruitment will be something to watch as the clicky/ fakeness will be in full display.
