fraternity rush

For any potential guys thinking of rushing, do not take any of these rankings for being the way it actually is. I looked at this website and then came here to TCU and realized that it wasn't even close to what each fraternity was even like. Come in with an open mind, know who YOU want to be in college, and talk to older girls about the reputations of both(They want rig the conversation). Be yourself and you'll be good to go. Oh, and have a blast. Rush week is incredible. Free booze, food, and events. Soak it up and good luck.

This is sooooo true for all Greek life. You can't know where you will fit best until you meet people and friendship should be the goal.

You just have to meet people and go with the group you feel a common connection with. Forget the name because who cares if you are mister able or have to change who you are to "fit in".

What other people claim to be top is irrelevant because if you don't fit in you will be miserable. Oh, and don't think your too cool to not get a bid to a top house because this isn't high school and everyone here has $, grades and connections.

How important is rush week compared to summer?

Some fraternities don't even participate in the actual formal rush week... So summer is a lot more important

Some of my favorite guys are NOT in fraternities that think they are top. Be open minded and you will be much happier.
