My situation is serious, but it hasn't stopped me. I have a very expensive realistic wig, I take meds that help me not to pull in public, I get really good grades and I have a lot of friends here in high school. I'd really like to join, but I don't want to join and then have people find out and hate me.

k - i'm guessing she posted it because stress brings out pulling tendencies and rush can be very stressful. the people might know.

Okay so here's the thing recruitment is VERY stressful and competitive. And that mixed with being away from home for the first time (for college anyway) and not knowing anyone (or many people). It's VERY stressful. You're on edge the whole time trying to impress the girls in the houses that you like and you might not get them back. You're around SO many girls and its in the 100's outside. So it's on you... Do you think you can handle it? I wish you the very best. And if you choose to go through, make sure you follow your heart and truly try to find a home with girls who are understanding. Being in a sorority leads to having a big support syetem. I'm not gonna lie and tell you everyone at tcu is sweet and non judgmental but that's not true. But there is houses with girls who are a little more understanding than others.
