ut transfer student

I'm transferring to TCU in the fall, and Im going to be rushing a fraternity. How should I go about the Rush process? Is it mostly informal bids during the summer?

Yea a lot of fraternities give out bids during summer rather than formal.

If you know someone/ have connections you will probably be bid during the summer but there is formal recruitment in the fall for those who don't. You can work it out either way.

Just because you don't have a inside connection here to get a summer bid does not mean you can have a successful fall formal recruitment. The guys who have insider connections may think they are superior but history shows that is not necessarily true.
