letters of rec

If you don't have a letter of rec for a certain house will you be dropped even if you have a high GPA and you're friendly and respectful?

Chi O and maybe tridelta will make cuts just for not having a rec. As for the high GPA thing and if you have a great resume, If you have a great personality, then you have a shot at GPhi and AXO. If you are classy with a high GPA, theta will give you a shot.

Look, you don't know anything about the selection process for any house but yours. Don't throw out a bunch of houses' names like you're some expert because I can tell you for sure you're wrong about one of those groups since it's mine.

So do all of the other houses besides Gphi axo and theta want girl with recs? And what about letters of support?

ALL houses should be given Rec letters. Competition is too high to risk that. Letters of Support are not as common but anything you can do to give yourself a advantage is a good idea.

The yeahokwhat person above gave you really bad advice when they said you don't need one to those houses. You need at least one to ALL houses. Please do this. It could mean the difference between getting cut and not getting cut from a house you like first round.

All girls coming to TCU have high grades and 99% are friendly and respectful. Give yourself every advantage by getting recs. It's not too late if you get them in now.

not everyone at TCU comes in with a high gpa. many don't. most of us go here because we didn't get into UT. And all the rich California kids come here because they didn't get into their on UC system or USC. stop trying to make this an academic school. it isn't . this is a party school.

Contact your local alumni association for those houses. They are normally willing to help get letters for you.

It really isn't hard.. Contact anyone you know.. Post on facebook if anyone knows of someone who was in that sorority. Ask around. I found a lady very randomly who had lots of connections and helped me get all of mine when I went through! You never know who was or may know someone who is an alum. You can also ask your local panhellenic.

It might not always have been this way but with over 1000 girls I would be afraid not to have a Rec. I highly suggest you follow the other advice on here and get those in ASAP.

I would have to agree with this advice. Even if you cannot get letters for every house you should try to get all of them that you can.
